MD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Impact
  • Patient Care & Triage – Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.
  • Clinical Procedures – Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more. Execute point‑of‑care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS‑CoV‑2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis. Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration. Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.
  • Patient Engagement & Documentation – Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and observe/report changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Clinic Operations – Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained. Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations.
  • Collaboration with Clinical Team – Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. Communicate effectively with providers and other healthcare professionals, and support the training of new team members.
Required Availability
  • Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts in consecutive or non‑consecutive days:
    • Full‑time: 3 12‑hour shifts a week with at least 4 shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Part‑time: 2 12‑hour shifts a week with at least 2 shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
    • Per diem: 4 12‑hour shifts a month, ideally one shift each week.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays.
  • If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three other Convenient

    MD locations within a one‑hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
  • Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one‑hour commute.
Who You Are
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification and Demonstrated Prior

    Experience:

    State licensed practical nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, must be IV certified.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, or online only classes.
