OBJECTIVE

The responsibility of the Wholesale Accounts Manager is to provide excellent customer service to all new and existing Commercial, Wholesale, and large volume retail customers. The focus will be on increasing the commercial sales and wholesale business for the Falmouth location through both process development and the completion of all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. Process improvement will include the development and implementation of both the wholesale business model and bid process in collaboration with the General Manager as well as the Director of Commercial Accounts and Special Services.

Additional business growth to be completed through the development of new commercial account channels, upselling across all product lines as well as working to improve upon and grow current commercial account relationships. As the primary point of contact for commercial and wholesale customers, the need to place orders through the Point-of-Sale system and ensure quotes are accurate including detailing item names, quantities, cost, and availability from the inventory is essential.

Additional communication with wholesale customers is needed to send out nursery bids with a quick turnaround. Communication internally with company buyers, and store level management will be required to fill and deliver commercial orders with quality products in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Develop and implement process improvement across all facets of the commercial and wholesale lines of business in collaboration with the General Manager and the Director of Commercial Accounts & Special Services
  • Improve upon regular communication channels with existing commercial customers to grow relationships ensuring all inquires are received and addressed in a timely manner
  • Research, develop and implement new commercial segments and channels to increase the total number of commercial accounts and drive the growth of commercial sales for the Falmouth location
  • Meet with new and existing commercial customers to develop price quotes including item names, sizes, prices and quantities as well as any installation costs for products as needed
  • Ensure that all customer orders are finalized and completed in a timely and accurate manner checking for product quality and quantity
  • Develop improvements on how to utilize the POS system to improve the efficiency in building customer quotes and checking item availability
  • Develop, implement and execute an improved bid process in order to send out nursery bids to wholesale customers with more efficient turnaround times
  • Support dedicated sales associates and team members in the movement and building of inventory in order to complete the order fulfilment process, communicating with PLMs to source required items and ensure item availability
