We are expanding our commercial operations on Martha’s Vineyard and are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead projects on the island. This role includes company-provided housing and per diem, making it an exceptional opportunity for off‑island professionals.
The PositionThe Commercial Plumbing Foreman is responsible for overseeing commercial plumbing projects from start to finish, managing crews, coordinating with project managers and general contractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, mentorship, and jobsite organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise commercial plumbing crews on active job sites
- Coordinate daily work activities and manpower needs
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans
- Install and oversee water, waste, and vent systems for commercial applications
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Track materials, tools, and equipment needs
- Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other trades
- Mentor apprentices and junior plumbers
