Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming primary school in the Falmouth / Penryn area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their specialist Additionally Resourced Base (ARB).

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly supportive team, working closely with pupils who need a little extra help to thrive both socially and academically.

The role is available on a full-time basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent school position for the right candidate.

You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include:

• Autism (ASC)
• Communication and interaction needs
• Speech and language difficulties
• Social, emotional and sensory needs

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Encouraging engagement in learning activities
• Supporting emotional regulation and classroom routines
• Promoting independence and confidence
• Assisting pupils with transitions and social interactions
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff

• £14.25 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
