Finance Manager

Butler Rose is proud to be partnering with a thriving business based in the Falmouth area to recruit an experienced, hands‑on Finance Manager. This role could be either 4 or 5 days per week.

This role will be part of the senior management team and take ownership of all financial operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll ensure accurate reporting, effective financial control, and strategic insight to support the company's ongoing growth.

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, reporting, and compliance.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, VAT returns, and forecasts.
• Oversee purchase ledger, payments, and credit control.
• Cash flow management and forecasts
• Support budgeting, audit, and financial planning.
• Build strong relationships with auditors, bankers and HMRC
• Lead and develop a small finance team.

• Experienced in managing the finances of a small or medium sized business.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with AAT (minimum) qualification.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive with excellent communication skills.
