Scope
Windracers are seeking short-term purchasing administrative support working alongside our existing buying and procurement team. The role is required to meet an urgent production throughput target and will primarily focus on data entry, basic catalogue purchasing tasks, MRP requisitioning, and invoice reconciliation. This role will be based at our production facility at Fareham and will require at least three days per week in person to ensure task comprehension and an understanding of the product.
Responsibilities- Bill of Materials data retrieval (e.g. supplier information) and feedback of inconsistencies / discrepancies
- Raising basic Request for Quotes and Purchase Orders within the MRP system
- Follow up on purchase requests with common catalogue suppliers to chase lead times
- Reconciliation and collation of invoices from previous purchases
- Online store purchases / basket setup (working alongside purchasing card holders)
- Basic stock checks and data capture from the Stores function
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Outlook)
- Previous experience in purchasing administration (3+ years)
- Working knowledge of standard purchasing documents (RFQ, POs, Invoices)
- Strong communication skills
- Odoo MRP experience
- Aerospace Purchasing Experience
- UAV Industry Knowledge
