Site Agent - Highways

We are pleased to be recruiting for an exciting new role within the highways industry for a Site Agent. This role will be working with an contractor who deliver high quality work and have a large subcontract in the Fareham area.

The projects are Civils on a highways scheme and as such, we are looking for high quality candidates, with extensive experience with civils, barriers, highways and 278 works.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications or experience;

SMSTS
CSCS
First Aid
NRSWA - Good to have, but not essential

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;

Experience as a Site Agent overseeing groundworks, civils, earthworks, drainage & highways
Extensive experience working with Civil Engineering on highway projects.

Duties

Monitor and produce good quality of work
Plan and Coordinate day to day tasks
Report to the Project Manager throughout the projects
Liaise with Site Supervisors to understand the progress of the works
Detailed record keeping, including Site Diaries & similar
Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
Monitor RAMS and ensure work has been carried out in accordance of these.
