Site Agent - Highways

Overview

We are pleased to be recruiting for an exciting new role within the highways industry for a Site Agent. This role will be working with a contractor who deliver high quality work and have a large subcontract in the Fareham area. The projects are Civils on a highways scheme and as such, we are looking for high quality candidates, with extensive experience with civils, barriers, highways and 278 works.

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• NRSWA - Good to have, but not essential

• Experience as a Site Agent overseeing groundworks, civils, earthworks, drainage & highways
• Extensive experience working with Civil Engineering on highway projects

• Monitor and produce good quality of work
• Plan and Coordinate day to day tasks
• Report to the Project Manager throughout the projects
• Liaise with Site Supervisors to understand the progress of the works
• Detailed record keeping, including Site Diaries & similar
• Checking that materials, plant, equipment and labour are on site to meet with contract and programme requirements
• Ensure there is a safe system of work in the place for all site activities and that safety equipment is provided at the correct time
• Monitor RAMS and ensure work has been carried out in accordance of these.
