KS2 Class Teacher - Fixed Term (Now until Summer)

One‑Form‑Entry Primary School - Fareham*
* Prospero Teaching are looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming one‑form‑entry primary school in Fareham on a fixed‑term basis from now until the end of the summer term.

Fixed term until July (with potential extension)

Salary:
From £150 per day - to be discussed with your consultant

Hours:

08::00 (subject to variation)

The Role

As the class teacher for a KS2 cohort, you will play a key role in supporting pupils through an important stage of their primary journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that promote curiosity and a love of learning

Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners and ensure strong progress

Creating a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports confidence, resilience, and independence

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting your approach to help every child succeed

Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes

Setting and maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching KS2 is beneficial, though not essential

A reflective practitioner with a commitment to ongoing professional development

A positive, child‑centred approach and a genuine desire to make a difference

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply

Requirements to Apply

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)

Suitable references available on request
