Prospero Teaching is currently seeking Qualified Teachers (QTS) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking for new opportunities in the Winchester area for the upcoming academic year.

We are working with a variety of primary schools, secondary schools, and specialist SEN provisions that are recruiting teaching staff for September starts across a range of subjects and key stages. Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking your next challenge or an ECT looking to begin your teaching career, we can help you find a role that suits your experience, preferences, and long‑term goals.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons within your subject area or key stage
Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements
Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider life of the school
Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an ECT
Strong subject knowledge or understanding of the primary curriculum
Passionate about supporting pupil progress and achievement
Effective classroom management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Adaptable and committed to delivering high‑quality teaching
Open to opportunities across a range of school settings

Pay Rate: £32,916 - £51,047 per annum (M1-U3)
Key Stages:
Primary, Secondary & SEN

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:

QTS required (or working towards completion as an ECT)
Relevant teaching experience or placements welcomed
Safeguarding training can be provided
