As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take full ownership of the mechanical design of our products—from initial concept through to high-volume manufacturing. You’ll be expected to make informed, complex design decisions and deliver high-quality solutions that meet demanding project requirements.

• Lead the mechanical design process across the full product lifecycle.
• Identify and evaluate technologies and solutions to meet functional and performance requirements.
• Develop and deliver robust mechanical designs aligned with project goals.
• Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Apply best‑practice design techniques including simulation, DFMEA, DfM, and GD&T to ensure product quality.
• Prepare and execute verification and validation test plans, including hands‑on testing and analysis.
• Manage design activities to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Project Management, Hardware, Software, and Compliance.

• A degree (BSc/BEng or higher) in Mechanical Design Engineering.
• Proven experience in a mechanical design role, ideally within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Solid Works for 3D modelling and drawing creation.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as casting, injection moulding, and machining.
• Strong understanding of design for quality and design for manufacture principles.
• Experience designing for harsh environments, including sealing, corrosion resistance, and vibration mitigation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work onsite with the team at least 4 days per week.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

This position requires access to export‑controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
