We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our production team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring high‑quality output by carrying out complex production testing and in‑depth diagnostics on both new builds and returned assemblies. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with electronics, and ensuring products meet strict quality standards, this role could be a great fit for you.

• Perform PCBA testing in line with provided work instructions and test procedures.
• Diagnose faults down to component level on assemblies that fail testing.
• Verify completed work for compliance before releasing to the next stage.
• Accurately record job history and maintain route card information.
• Proactively highlight issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality.
• Follow all Health & Safety, quality, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
• Liaise closely with Engineering, Production, and other internal departments as required.

• Strong knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC J‑STD‑001 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Understanding of ESD controls.
• Awareness of AS9100 and ISO
  9001 quality standards.

• Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and IT‑based.
• Confident using PCs and tablets in a production environment.
• Motivated with strong time‑management skills.
• Calm, methodical, and able to work well under pressure.
