Senior Civil Technician (Infrastructure & Drainage)

An established and growing engineering consultancy based in Fareham is seeking a skilled Senior Civil Technician to join our infrastructure team.

They deliver a wide range of development infrastructure projects across the South Coast and beyond, supporting residential, commercial, and mixed‑use schemes from feasibility through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys technical responsibility and working within a collaborative, close‑knit team.

Working as a Senior Civil Technician you will;

• Preparing detailed highway, infrastructure, and drainage drawings
• Designing and modelling surface water and foul drainage systems
• Producing S38, S278, and S104 technical packages
• Coordinating with engineers, clients, and external consultants
• Assisting with flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
• Ensuring compliance with local authority and statutory requirements

• Proven experience as a Civil Technician within a UK consultancy
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and drainage design standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience desirable)
• Experience producing adoptable highway and drainage layouts
• Good understanding of SuDS principles and UK design standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
