We're currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project in Fareham.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme with a well-established contractor, offering competitive day rates and an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting out for highways and civil engineering works.
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the client.
- Carrying out quality assurance checks and ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Supporting the delivery of works safely, on time, and within budget.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil engineering projects.
- Proficient in setting out using GPS and total station equipment.
- Strong understanding of QA procedures and as-built records.
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar).
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
