We’re supporting an established IT solutions provider delivering infrastructure projects across the education and commercial sectors. They’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their Fareham team and take ownership of technical projects from initial scoping and design through to implementation and handover.
THE PROJECT ENGINEER ROLEYou’ll deliver infrastructure projects remotely and on customer sites, carrying out technical audits, site surveys, solution design, installation and configuration. Projects will cover Windows Server, Hyper-V, server/storage, LAN/WLAN, backup and security
. You’ll also support technical pre-sales opportunities and provide 3rd Line escalation support where required.
- Windows Server, Hyper-V and SCCM
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
- Server and storage infrastructure
- LAN / WLAN networking
- Backup and recovery
- Firewalls and network security
- Infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting
- Technical documentation, audits and site surveys
Experience with in an MSP or technical pre-sales environment would be beneficial, alongside HPE Server andamp;
Storage, Aruba/Aruba Central, Veeam, Smoothwall and SD-WAN
. A full UK driving licence is essential
, with UK travel and occasional overnight stays required.
