About The Role
Bring innovative ideas from concept to reality. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Design Engineer to take ownership of the entire product development journey, from interpreting customer requirements and developing innovative design concepts through to manufacture and installation. You'll work on technically challenging projects, apply advanced engineering principles, and act as the focal point for FEA and CFD analysis to deliver high-performance solutions.

- Analyse products to ensure integrity of design and performance specifications are met.
- Aerospace Approval signatory – See individual skills matrix for applicable categories.
- Establish/perform FEA/CFD techniques applicable to PFG products, provide technical support to other users.
- Deputise for the Engineering Manager
- Monitor and control unit and project costs to meet profit targets and agreed budgets
- Provide technical support to sales/applications both internally and externally at the customers site.
- Provide Technical support to Production & Quality for MRB decisions.

- Relevant mechanical engineering experience including a sound knowledge of fluid mechanics and pressure systems.
- Competent in the use of Autodesk CFD
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Engineering degree
- Project Management experience
- Experience of precision machined components within the Aerospace Industry
