Management Accountant

A global engineering company is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to their Finance team based in Fareham. This is a key role in a fast‑paced, growing organisation with a global footprint. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality management reporting, acting as a finance business partner for operational teams and driving continuous improvement in finance.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with operational teams
• Deliver cost and inventory accounting, including standard costing, manufacturing variances and margin analysis
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and SOX‑compliant reporting
• Provide financial analysis to highlight risks, trends and opportunities
• Support corporate reporting and audit processes
• Improve finance systems, reporting tools and internal controls

To be considered for this role you will need to be a part‑qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA). Study support is available if you are part‑qualified. Strong management accounting knowledge is also required, as are strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of business stakeholders. Experience in manufacturing is highly beneficial, as is any experience with SAP, Power BI, or Salesforce.
