Overview
Are you a Registered Midwife looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience of working as a Midwife in the UK for at least 12 months and have you completed your preceptorship programme? Our service at North Bristol Trust provides a full range of obstetric services for those who live in the catchment of North Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
Our maternity department records 5,200 births each year and our involvement in world‑renowned research has led to the development of PROMPT. At our last CQC inspection, we were rated as ‘good’, meaning we are performing well and meeting expectations. and Working Arrangement
You will be required to work flexibly, to include being part of the on‑call rota and candidates must have NMC registration. An experienced midwife is required to support the Antenatal & Newborn (ANNB) Screening Team in overseeing the ANNB screening programmes delivered at NBT.
Responsibilities- Support women through the screen care pathway.
- Assist the ANNB Screening Coordinator in implementing new or revised screening programme guidance and standards.
- Monitor the quality and performance of the screening programmes.
