We are currently recruiting within Adult Secure Services a motivated, enthusiastic, and inspirational leader in the role of Clinical Lead (Band
7), to complement our senior leadership team across Adult Secure Service. This role will be clinically leading a ward within Ravenswood House.
You will clinically manage the ward, while supporting the ward to deliver on the overall quality improvements, ensuring that a continuous cycle of clinical improvement is embedded throughout the units.
You will lead on clinical care and patient pathways on the ward.
You will lead on maintaining and improving patient outcomes within the service.
You will act as a positive transformational change lead, proficiently delivering on improving service users' outcomes and the performance of the service.
You will be working some clinical shifts, as required by the Modern Matron.
You will be expected to manage, maintain and improve a number of systems that will work alongside Trust strategies and Secure Services agendas, including the patient incident system, quality improvement strategy and patient experience improvement.
We would welcome applications from experienced RLDN and RMN nurses who are highly motivated and possess excellent organisation and team working skills, be patient focused and embracing of the Trust values. You will be ready to take the next step in your career and will have evidence of CPD.
Main duties of the job- Lead on clinical care and patient pathways.
- Lead on the improvement plans set by the service, ensuring that a continuous cycle of clinical improvement is embedded throughout the service. To act as a positive transformational change lead, proficiently delivering on improving service users' outcomes and the performance of the unit.
- The post holder will be expected to manage, maintain and improve a number of systems that will work alongside Trust strategies and Secure Services agendas, including the patient incident system, quality improvement strategy and patient experience improvement.
- Work autonomously and create strong working relationships with the service leads, be creative and flexible while maintaining a focus on improving patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the medical staff and other allied health professionals supporting the delivery of patient care to ensure the well‑being of patients, staff and visitors is paramount to the unit ethos.
- Identify opportunities for assisting the unit to make overall improvements and work with minimal supervision.
