• MCTS is a sophisticated and versatile training platform used by the Royal Navy providing state of the art classroom and simulation training facilities delivering maritime warfare training in controlled environments.
• MCTS Maintainers play a pivotal part in ensuring training equipment is prepared and ready for use; defects are promptly addressed; spares are controlled; and Customer KPI requirements are met on a daily basis.
• Accountable directly to the MCTS Lead Maintainer; working both individually and as part of a dual-site team, maintainers will work with a variety of modern simulation and training technology solutions, ensuring their readiness for training and seamless provision during the training day.
• Working in a fast moving commercial/military environment, where swift response is required to emerging issues and defects, MCTS Maintainers must be suitably experienced in this field and flexible in their approach and response to a complex series of possible calls on their expertise.
• Systems Familiarity:
  Maintainers are responsible for, and must develop, sustainable working competency to promptly solve a variety of operating issues/defects on Customer Furnished and Government Furnished equipment’s (CFE and GFE) which form the MCTS TE outfit.
• Training Equipment (TE) Preparation:
  Prepare assigned training spaces/equipment for training to meet “Ready for Training” requirements as specified in the Agreed Training Schedule (ATS).
• Maintain TE Hardware:
  Assure availability and serviceability of in use TE in assigned spaces to deliver correctly prepared/formatted TE to meet the training schedule.
