To provide functional support and expand capabilities in the areas of Quality Management systems and Regulatory Systems development and management, IT solution design and administration. This function provides the lead in the process of delivering integrated business and information solutions. The role is responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management systems and their interface to corporate business systems is fit for purpose and meets the changing needs of Quality Management IT infrastructure.

• Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the organization and its customers.
• Identify effective solutions to operational issues – transaction processing – business information etc.
• Document, edit and review requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
• Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for new systems, new interfaces, new processes and new requirements.
• Evaluate local and global system development proposals and provide analysis and recommendations to local management on likely impacts.
• Provide expertise and problem resolution to the functional departments when issues extend outside the knowledge of the functional department Key Users.
• Research, communicate and demonstrate "best practice" opportunities for the local/regional organization, allowing key decision makers and local/regional managers the opportunity to leverage "best practice" as a strategic and competitive advantage for the organization.
• Manage Quality Management system projects.

• Effectively communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand format.

• Proven experience in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
• Experience and knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
• Experience and knowledge of Oracle Agile PLM and Veeva Quality, or equivalent Quality systems.
• Knowledgeable about GxP Validated Systems.

• Experience working directly in at least one of the major operational areas
  - Manufacturing, QA or other production environment.
• Must have extensive proven experience in Quality Management Systems with prior experience in Agile PLM strongly preferred.
• Must be familiar with Quality Systems and Background on Manufacturing.
• High level of IT literacy - concepts and terminology.
• Experience in the Project Management Life Cycle.
• Competence with all major Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Visio.
