Process Technician

Process Technician – Electronics Manufacturing / Production

We are recruiting for a Process Technician to join a production environment, supporting the build, rework, modification and testing of electronic components and assemblies. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on production experience and a strong understanding of IPC standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out component rework and modifications in accordance with IPC standards.

* Build assemblies following approved production procedures.

* Perform basic test routines at sub-assembly and GA levels.

* Compile test reports and complete production and quality documentation.

* Update and maintain relevant business information systems.

Skills & Experience

* Minimum two years’ experience in a similar production or manufacturing role.

* Experience of electronics assembly, component rework, modification and testing.

* Knowledge of IPC standards and production procedures.

* Methodical and analytical approach with strong attention to detail.

* Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Relevant backgrounds may include Process Technician, Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Electronics Technician, Assembly Technician, Rework Technician or Test Technician.
