Mid-Market Business Development Manager – Managed Detection & Response
You’ll join a high-performing new business sales team in a pure hunter role, focused on winning net-new mid-market customers. Working closely with SDRs and supported by a dedicated pre‑sales specialist, you’ll take full ownership of the sales cycle from initial prospecting through to close while building a strong pipeline across key verticals. The foundations are already in place: engaged sales leadership, strong technical support, and a clear go‑to‑market strategy.
What’s needed now is someone who can roll up their sleeves, create momentum, and consistently close deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition within the mid-market
- Own the end to end sales process, from outbound prospecting to contract close
- Build and develop pipeline across targeted industry verticals
- Collaborate closely with SDRs and pre‑sales to deliver value‑led solutions
- Managed Detection & Response (MDR) and Managed SOC services
- Vulnerability management solutions
- Human risk and compliance offerings
- Security posture assessments, including ISO 27001 and CEC engagements
This is consultative, high‑value selling focused on long‑term partnerships rather than transactional, low‑margin deals.
Qualifications- Proven experience selling IT or cybersecurity solutions into the mid‑market
- A track record of consistent new business success
- High energy, resilience, and a genuine drive to win
- Coachable, self‑aware, and collaborative no egos
- Ability to articulate business value, not just technical features
