Relief Retail Security Officer

Pay rate

£13.23 per hour.

Various shifts to be discussed at interview.

Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

• Preferably hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training available in some circumstances).
• Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide may result in offer withdrawal or termination.

• Deliver industry‑leading customer service.
• Deterrence of violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to support reduction of crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to foster working relationships.
• Wear body‑worn CCTV to support crime reduction and increase safety for colleagues and customers.
