Shipping Coordinator – 12 Month FTC
Safran Helicopter Engines, a leading manufacturer of rotorcraft turbines, seeks a Shipping Coordinator to support the European Maintenance Centre Hub in Fareham. The role involves managing shipping operations, customs compliance, and coordination with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.

- Process shipment requests through SAP and SRF (Shipping Request Process).
- Respond to couriers and create Customs Clearance Instructions on SAP.
- Ensure freight forwarder compliance with Single Administrate Document (C88/SAD) completion.
- Schedule deliveries and collections via courier web‑based systems.
- Compile and maintain haulier manifest schedule.
- Communicate written and verbally with couriers, hauliers, and internal customers regarding shipment ETA and delays.
- Track shipments and update SAP with Airway Bill details.
- Complete Dangerous Goods Declarations when required.
- Support the Shipping Coordinator team and embrace the QRQC system, reporting occurrences and data correctness.
- English and Maths GCSE grade 9–4 (A*–C).
- Responsive, methodical, and organised, especially for document management.
- Flexible and agile in problem‑management approach.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external parties.
- Solution focused, curious thinking, and problem‑solving experience.
- Previous experience in a quality or process‑driven workflow environment.
