HGV Class 2 Driver

The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Segensworth for HGV Class 2 Drivers.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
• Deliver cages and pallets of wholesale goods to shops.
• Ensure correct placement in line with site requirements
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes)
• Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
• Secure loads correctly and ensure transported safely
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable

This role is available for ongoing or temp to perm role for the right candidate

Hours of work:

• 05:00 starts each day ( willing to be flexible as this could change )
• Standard day will finish around 2pm each day, this could vary depending on various factors (routes, traffic)

Pay Rates:

• 17.00 per hour Monday to Friday
• Min 8 hours paid per day

You will need to have:

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• Digi Card
• CPC Card
• Previous experience preferred but not essential.
