St Gabriels is looking for a friendly, reliable and professional   Minibus Driver to join our Transport Team and play an important part in providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming journey to and from school.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will safely transport pupils on designated school routes, carrying out daily vehicle checks, maintaining passenger registers and helping to ensure appropriate behaviour and pupil wellbeing throughout each journey.
You may also support transport for school events, open days and outings, as well as participate in the Schools First Aid rota, with training provided where required.
There may also be opportunities to undertake additional driving duties outside the usual morning and afternoon routes, offering the potential for additional earnings.
The typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, approximately 6.45am8.45am and 3.45pm5.45pm, although timings may vary depending on the route.
About you
You will hold a full, clean UK driving licence with D1 entitlement to drive a minibus and have an excellent awareness of road safety and passenger care. Friendly, approachable and professional, you will be reliable, punctual and comfortable communicating with both children and adults. You will bring a calm, patient and safety-focused approach and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
