Location: North Fareham
Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)
This is a physical role in a fast paced environment. All you need is a ‘can do’ attitude and be reliable. Full training will be given.
* Fareham
* £14.24 per hour (circa £29,000 pa)
* Monday – Friday, 10 pm – 7 am (40 hour week)
* 12 week temporary with a view of becoming a permanent role
* Parking on site
Key responsibilities
* Pick and pack customer orders accurately
* Loading trucks (goods up to 25kg in weight possibly heavier)
* Unloading trucks and putting goods away
* Using cutting machines (full training will be given)
* Stock rotations, stock checks and stock integrity
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
* Operate warehouse equipment safely following appropriate training
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time
* Provide support across the warehouse with a variety of operational tasks as required
Skills & experience
* Reliable with an excellent work ethic and strong attendance record
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Comfortable undertaking manual handling and physical work
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attendance and time keeping
Additional information
* This will initially start on a temporary basis for 3 months with a view of becoming a permanent position
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
