Job Summary

Performs a variety of day‑to‑day office and clerical tasks. An integral part in ensuring that the office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting business activities. Organized and competent professional with strong communication skills. Comfortable dealing with all levels of customers and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and efficiency. Ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.

Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency. Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings, billing, etc.). Greet and assist visitors upon arrival. Monitor office expenditures and handle all office duties as assigned by leadership. Perform basic bookkeeping activities and update systems as needed. Assist in vendor relationship management as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Work with provider schedules, schedule patients, assist with insurance prior authorization for devices and surgery, order supplies, and other delegated tasks.
  • Experience working in EPIC or other medical records is preferred but not required.
  • Strong computer skills are essential to this role.
Qualifications
  • Post secondary education or equivalent training in a health care or business related field is required. Associate degree preferred.
  • Must have at least three years of applicable experience, with previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
