Asphalt Screed Operator-Fargo

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Asphalt Screed Operator to join our paving crew for the upcoming construction season. The ideal candidate will have experience operating screed equipment and working in fast-paced paving environments. This is a seasonal, full-time position based in Fargo, ND, with travel to job sites as needed.

• Operate screed controls on paving machine to ensure a consistent and smooth asphalt surface
• Monitor depth, width, and grade of asphalt during paving
• Coordinate with paver and roller operators to maintain efficient workflow
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and policies

• Experience as an asphalt screed operator (1+ years preferred)
• Strong understanding of paving procedures and equipment
• Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, during the construction season
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a team environment

• CDL Class A or B (not required, but a plus)
• Familiarity with electronic screed control systems

Seasonal work M-F 60+ hours a week (must be available to work Saturdays). Fargo location.

Excellent wages: $27.65-$33.40/hr DOE

Depending on experience, may qualify for fringe benefits: $17.99-$21.90/hr fringe (covers Health Insurance premiums & Pension).

Must be able to pass drug screen.

Education/

Experience:

Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in construction field is helpful. Highly competitive wages and benefits offered. Must pass urine drug test! Must be willing to work long hours during summer season
