Asphalt Roller Operator-Fargo

We are seeking a dependable Asphalt Roller Operator to join our paving crew for the construction season. This position plays a critical role in achieving proper compaction and smoothness of newly laid asphalt. Travel to job sites may be required.

• Operate steel drum and/or pneumatic roller to compact and finish asphalt pavement
• Work closely with the paver operator and screed operator to ensure consistent mat density
• Monitor the condition of the pavement and adjust rolling patterns as needed
• Perform daily safety inspections and basic maintenance on equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols

• Prior experience operating asphalt rollers (1+ years preferred)
• Familiarity with compaction techniques and mat temperature requirements
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends during peak season
• Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player

• CDL Class A or B (preferred but not required)
• Experience with both breakdown and finish rolling

Seasonal work M-F 60+ hours a week (must be available to work Saturdays) Fargo location!

Excellent wages: $27.65-$33.40/hr DOE

Depending on experience, may qualify for fringe benefits- $17.99-$21.90/hr fringe (covers Health Insurance premiums & Pension).

Must be able to pass drug screen.

Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in construction field is helpful.
