Summary

The Dental Patient Services Manager provides leadership and supervision for the Dental Patient Services team to ensure efficient daily operations and an exceptional patient experience. This position serves as an advocate for the department, Family Health Care, and the patients we serve.

The Dental Patient Services Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing staff while overseeing department orientation, training, and ongoing skill development. This position works closely with dental leadership and team members to support effective workflows, address patient service needs, and ensure the department operates efficiently and professionally.

A successful candidate will be a strong and approachable leader who demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ideal individual will be adaptable, solution-oriented, and committed to maintaining a positive work environment while promoting teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred

  • Healthcare knowledge and experience preferred

  • Dental knowledge and experience preferred

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop employees

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs

  • Commitment to providing an excellent patient experience and fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment
