Sanford Health has an opening for an Inpatient Pediatric Psychologist to join our growing team. Psychologists at Sanford Health are a valued part of our care team and play an integral role in our comprehensive care model. We seek candidates eager to develop specialty care programs for our patients and families. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven psychologist with leadership aspirations to make a significant impact in program development and enhancement, supported by a collegial interdisciplinary team.

• Team includes one experienced inpatient pediatric psychologist and a robust outpatient team of 6 Psychologists, 5 Psychiatrists, Masters Level Therapists, and Integrated Health Therapists.

• Sanford Children’s Hospital is a 72-bed facility within Sanford’s general hospital.

• This position supports General Pediatrics, Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU.

• Supports the Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

• Supports the Pediatric Palliative Care Program.

• Works with patients and families with chronic diseases.

• Participates in the Universal Screening Program.

• Part of the Multidisciplinary Team rounding on all patients.

• Addresses life-altering diagnoses early.

• Addresses adolescent suicide concerns.

• Addresses needs related to Autism Spectrum Disorders inpatient.

• Provides therapy groups for patients and families.

• Collaborates with the Children’s Advocacy Center.
