Sanford Health is looking for a BE/BC general surgeon fellowship trained in surgical critical care with extensive experience in trauma to join their emergency general surgery, trauma, and surgical critical care team in Fargo, North Dakota.
This position covers the Surgical Critical Care Service, Emergency General Surgery, and Trauma Surgery Service. The team consists of ten surgeons and six nurse practitioners. The region’s only Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, & Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- High volume complex emergency general surgery
- Obtain an academic appointment through University of North Dakota Medical School
- Teaching of medical students & surgical residents and research opportunities are available
- Critical Care Fellowship beginning 2026
The compensation package includes a nationally competitive 2-year salary guarantee with a comprehensive physician benefit package.
