Description:
OB/GYN coverage needed for locum (Laborist) starting as soon as credentialed.
Preference for weekdays.
Seeking 3-4 24-hour shifts a month if possible.
Require 24 hours off between shifts.
Providers must be able to work at least half of the open shifts to be considered.
Open shifts include specific dates in November, December, and January.
Physicians handle approximately 65% of all deliveries.
Facility has 16 labor/delivery/postpartum rooms and an OB dedicated OR.
Average of 120 deliveries per month.
Must possess skills in low and high-risk pregnancies.
Required skills include FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, routine deliveries, C-sections, and repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
Experience in office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, etc.) and surgical gynecology required.
Level I screening or targeted (anatomic) ultrasound skills are also necessary.
No laser certification required.
