FULL TIME SENIOR PASTOR OPPORTUNITY
Community Presbyterian Church of West Fargo, North Dakota is seeking a full time pastor to lead a congregation of approximately 100 members. We are looking for someone who works well with youth and families with the goal of growing the congregation. At the same time, we also need someone with the ability to provide pastoral care and ministry that is inclusive of all age groups.
The candidate for this position should be an effective Bible-based speaker that both teaches God’s love for us and inspires us to be of service to others. As the pastor of Community Presbyterian Church, there will be many opportunities to provide leadership for community outreach. We are currently involved with several community organizations and support missions both at home and abroad.
We enjoy fellowship with each other including several activities that include all age groups. Our worship service, which includes both contemporary and traditional music, is followed by a time for coffee and conversation with one another.
The congregation strives to live by its Mission Statement:
To know God, To be led by the Holy Spirit, To share Christ.
West Fargo is one of the fastest growing communities in the midwest with many opportunities for employment including computer technology and bio research. There are many options for housing including charming older homes, new builds and multiple rental opportunities. The schools and healthcare systems are excellent and also provide opportunities for employment.
We enjoy all four seasons with many indoor and outdoor activities. We’re close to many rivers, lakes and camping sites. There are three colleges in the area that provide good sports opportunities as well as a minor league baseball team. Restaurants are plentiful, from fast food to fine dining.
To us, “North Dakota nice” isn’t just a slogan. It’s a way of life.
