Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9‑month tenure. Salary range: $18.43 to $22.85 per hour. Benefits are available (eligible).

All building principals will call selected candidates. Additional education or experience may be required. Title I positions require certification.

Paraeducators provide instructional support and deliver other direct services to students under the direction of a certified teacher or other licensed employee. Two classifications: para educator I and II. Schools hire depending on student/school needs.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians orally and in writing
• Basic academic and computer skills

• Experience working or volunteering in a school setting
• Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Associate’s degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a similar field
• Experience as a direct support professional, personal care aide, CNA, or similar position
