Primary Responsibilities
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to perform structural and civil engineering calculations with minimal supervision.
  • Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard engineering codes, techniques, and procedures.
  • Participate and lead civil structures condition assessments and demonstrate report writing ability.
  • Analyze available project information, formulate work processes and execute work within schedules and budgets.
  • Work independently on projects or with teams on larger projects.
  • Interface with internal and external clients.
  • Execute a mix of project management related to technical work assignments, field work and some overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
  • Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.
  • Computer knowledge of structural analysis programs (STRUDL, RISA, REVIT Structural, RAM Structural System; Enercalc, LPILE, MFAD) and Microsoft Office is a plus.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license).
  • Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software (examples include PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Auto Pipe, and Revit).

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full‑time regular positions. Temporary and part‑time roles eligible for limited benefits.) The salary range in Minnesota is  84,672.00 –  .
