Our Instrumentation & Controls (I &
C) Engineer role is available at any location in the United States. You will work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities, providing technical quality for challenging engineering tasks, startup support, and coordination with other team members.
Your impact includes designing and optimizing control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world‑class solutions for new facilities. Responsibilities include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, documenting and modeling design information, and ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be accountable for schedule and technical quality, provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities, help design and optimize control systems, and work with a multidisciplinary team.
QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS and other controls applications
Preferred:
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams
- Experience with Data Center Design
