Engineer Product II – Product Verification & Validation

Volt is immediately hiring a Product Verification & Validation in Fargo ND. As a Product Verification & Validation, you will:

• Coordinates, performs product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project.
• Contribute to the Product Verification & Validation (PV&V) of electric machines, including creating PV&V plans and activities in VISION, tracking activities in VISION, creating work requests, and reporting out Activity Completion Rating (ACR) to leadership.
• Contribute to the interpretation and implementation of standards, specifications, and regulations relative to electric machines as they apply to the product.

• Knowledge of data acquisition equipment and instrumentation such as accelerometers, thermistors, current transducers, and vector network analyzers.
• Knowledge of related electric drive components (inverters, connectors, energy storage, etc.)
• Knowledge in analytical details of electric machine types and design (continuous and peak load evaluation, electromagnetics, bearings, insulating materials, cooling, and manufacturability).

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related field of study
• 2 years’ experience working with rotating components, electric machine design, test, or implementation.
• 2 years testing electronic motors.

This is Full time, Contract Opportunity. (Fully Onsite Schedule). Pay Rate*: $48/hr. to $52/hr.
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
