Electrical Design Technician – Jacobs
Base pay range: $66,000.00/yr – $90,800.00/yr

This job opportunity is available at any location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S.‑based office, but we intend to hire the “best” candidates.
Working as an Electrical Design Technician, supporting our data center design team, you will design and draft drawings for various facility design projects, applying diversified knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software and practices to prepare construction drawings for MEP systems.
Responsibilities- Design and draft construction drawings for MEP systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Create and update templates and project set‑up in Revit.
- Manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use parameters in Revit families and schedules.
- Collaborate with Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers, and Architects.
- At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building‑related designs.
- BS degree reduces this requirement by 1–2 years.
- Proficient in creating and updating templates and project set‑up in Revit.
- Familiar with working with central files and local files.
- Able to manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use various parameters in Revit families and schedules.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Strong skills with Revit 2017 & 2018, BIM
360, Autodesk, BIM 360 GLUE, and Navisworks. - US Citizen.

Base salary range is $66,000.00 to $90,800.00; employees will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
