Job Summary

Mechanical Technician – 12‑month contract (possible extension). Fully onsite at Fargo, ND. Candidates must be willing to relocate to be onsite from day one.

Required Education

A.S. in Electronics or a two‑year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

Minimum one year of related experience.

Preferred:
Three or more years of related experience.

Required Skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Understanding of troubleshooting methodologies to identify root cause.

Ability to read and comprehend engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.

Ability to maintain necessary product records and documentation.

Ability to work independently.

What Makes You Stand Out

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components.

Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Communication/Networking hardware
Robotics, automation, or mechatronics
Farming

Job Purpose

Test electronic products to qualify for production readiness.

Job Duties

Conduct manual test of electronic assemblies and document results.

Set up lab equipment per engineering instruction.

Perform maintenance on equipment and products.

Hours:

2 pm–10 pm (will require ability to train on first shift for as long as needed).
