Job Summary
Hansen Pole Buildings LLC is seeking a Registered Professional Engineer to design and ensure the safety of our post‑frame building kits in West Fargo, ND.
Key Responsibilities- Review and finalize custom structural plans for post‑frame buildings.
- Apply engineering principles to design structures and determine suitable construction methods.
- Analyze components and perform calculations of post‑frame building stresses, strains, and pressures.
- Coordinate with IT staff to improve the custom pricing program.
- Prepare and submit plans, letters, and other documentation to clients and building departments to obtain necessary permits.
- Maintain regular communication regarding project status and updates.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software for plan updates and reviews.
- Experience drafting schematics and producing technical drawings.
- Familiarity with construction processes and terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Sketch Up and other CAD tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or a strong desire to obtain it.
- Ability and desire to acquire licensure in multiple states.
