ResponsibilitiesAs a Component Engineer for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Fargo, ND, you will:
- Perform collection, review, and maintenance of technical data for an electronics component database in a Product Lifecycle Management tool, used by product development engineers
- Process and execute internal changes related to Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and End of Life (EOL)
- Execute specific tasks for indirect materials components and manufacturers
- Complete datasheet and lifecycle maintenance
- Lead or support other continuous improvement projects as assigned

What Skills You Need- Advanced Problem Solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience using analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Mathcad, Tableau, Power
BI, etc.) - Demonstrated skill in interpersonal communications, use of influence, and conflict resolution
- Technical knowledge of electronic components
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Processes or Tools
- Understanding of Electronics Manufacturing Processes
- Understanding of Product Development Processes, such as John Deere EPDP
- Understanding of Quality processes and their application to component engineering for electronics components
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
