Mechanical Engineer

Position: Mechanical Engineer I
Job Overview The Mechanical Engineer 1 designs, fabricates, develops, and tests solutions to improve reliability, capability, throughput, and the safety of production equipment, jigs/fixtures, workstations, and material handling equipment. The Mechanical Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.

Highlights of your role Support Maintenance to identify, problem solve, and resolve issues in production equipment.

Design, fabricate, develop, and test jigs/fixtures, material handling equipment, and production workstations.

Collaborate with plant personnel to gather insights, diagnose issues, and determine root causes of equipment challenges

Assist with equipment retrofits.

Assist Manufacturing Engineers with daily issues.

Maintain drawing accuracy and folder structure format.

Develop bill of materials and procure necessary materials.

Identify and implement continuous improvement activities within production and business processes.

Assist in analyzing, identifying, and resolving production line problems and lead problem solving groups.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated, strong written and oral communication required

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
