Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social and digital media strategies on behalf of SCHEELS and vendors.
  • Actively seek opportunities to increase sales, traffic, conversion rates, and specific KPIs through analytic‑driven recommendations.
  • Identify, present, and execute opportunities to improve customer experience and return on ad spend across all marketing mediums (Meta, Tik Tok, Reddit, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Manage and coordinate projects so that they are organized and delivered on time and on budget.
  • Provide premier customer service inclusive of our internal team and our social followers through engagement and response in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with others to create and execute content, contests, and campaigns.
  • In partnership with the Social Media Leader, collaborate with our other partners, both internal and external, on related projects and initiatives.
  • Passion for the retail space and social media, including finding inspiration from industry resources, leaders and competitors.
  • Accept and provide feedback for continued improvement, both personally and for the local store teams.
  • Manage across campaigns, ensuring content is aligned with the agency message(s) and is relevant and approved for use.
  • Have advanced knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical, data‑analysis, creative and innovative abilities.
  • Understand market trends and customer mindsets.
  • Be organized, multi‑task, and maintain all aspects of social media.
  • Show strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to meet all project deadlines.
  • Work independently and with the team.
  • Respond with urgency to address all project needs.
  • Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization while working on projects.
  • Communicate effectively with all SCHEELS associates and customers through strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, one to two years of experience in social media marketing with demonstrated successes; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
