Position: Client Support Specialist - Executive Benefits and Financial Services

Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Assist the financial advisor team with client service, including scheduling and preparing for client meetings
  • Assist the financial advisor team with client servicing tasks such as account opening, documentation, beneficiary changes, and generating reports.
  • Compiling client financial information and populating data in financial planning software
  • Assist in the analysis of client objectives and development of planning strategies
  • Support advisory team in the preparation and fulfillment of client applications and forms
  • Support the management and administration of Insurance contracts and investment accounts, which may include Life, Disability, Long Term Care, Annuities, Retirement Accounts, and Non-Qualified Accounts.
  • Ensure all processes adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., FINRA, ERISA, DOL guidelines).
  • Work with the team to continue to develop, enhance and/or refine the company’s procedures and policies
  • Assists with departmental projects.
  • Performs assigned duties within the department.
  • Works under direct supervision

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • 1-3 years relevant financial planning industry experience preferred
  • Preferred 2-year degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Basic knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures necessary to perform the functions of the job.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client-centric with a team mentality
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and accountable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • The ability to analyze financial data, interpret complex plan documents and regulations, and solve problems is crucial.
  • Life & Health Insurance license required within 60 days of hire (Assistance provided)
