This PRN phlebotomy position begins at 5am with a typical mid-morning end-time after assigned draws are completed. Reasonable flexibility to accommodate school or work schedules will be considered. No nights, weekends or observed holidays. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Primary duties involve blood collections at Fargo-Moorhead metro skilled nursing and long term care facilities.
Job SummaryResponsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
