Community Behavioral Health Liaison

At the Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic (SEBHC), we are dedicated to making behavioral health care more accessible to everyone. As part of our desire to move towards becoming a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), we provide comprehensive, community‑based mental health and substance use services. Our mission is to drive systemic change and improve community well‑being through strong partnerships and innovative solutions.

We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our management team as a Liaison, working to strengthen and expand our community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with SEBHC’s management team to align community engagement efforts with our strategic goals.
  • Represent SEBHC in various forums, meetings, and public events to advocate for behavioral health care accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities for partnership and systemic change to enhance the effectiveness of our services.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of community initiatives and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position you must have a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, sociology, medical management, nursing or business administration and two years’ experience working in a human services/ behavioral health clinic or facility. OR a master's degree in one of the above fields. Prefer knowledge of community resources and services related to healthcare, social services, and mental health.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new‑hire orientation.

Location

ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face‑to‑face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.
