Provide skilled speech-language therapy to patients with communication, cognitive, speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The Speech Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and support functional independence.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve communication, speech, cognition, and swallowing function
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
- Recommend appropriate communication or swallowing aids when indicated
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
